Internationally renowned as a leading design-centred architect, Carlos Ott brings an extraordinary wealth of project development experience to the job. For more than 40 years, he has devised and managed capital works projects in the areas of urban planning and building architecture. Examples of projects that bear the unique architectonic handwriting of Carlos Ott include the Opera de la Bastille in Paris, the Grand Theatre in Wenzhou, China, the Playa Vik José Ignacio in Maldonado, Uruguay, the National Bank of Dubai, and the Capitán de Corbeta Carlos A. Curbelo International Airport in Maldonado, Uruguay. The global recognition of Ott is reflected in numerous awards and accolades.
Carlos Ott and the Schirmer family have maintained close professional and personal ties fore more than 20 years. The long-term collaboration commenced with the first joint project in the early 1990s, which was the development and construction of the hospital Sophien und Hufeland Klinikum in Weimar, Germany. Today, Carlos uses his expertise and creativity to support the next generation of the Schirmer family and ICAZAR in selected special projects.

BM Economistes & de la Mata Abogados is an innovative legal and tax consultancy joint venture domiciled in Palma de Mallorca, and specialising in the property sector.
ICAZAR.architects has already worked with the team of Carlos de la Mata and Josep Balle for more than 10 years. They make their expertise in any legal and fiscal issue involved in the buying, selling and letting of property available to our project team.
